The AFBC said it
would work actively in coming months with all relevant parties in Fiji to help the
recovery of the Fiji economy from the devastating effects of events since 19 May.
The AFBC commended the Interim Military Government
of Fiji for its efforts to resolve the crisis and place Fiji on a path to return to
normalcy, and again called on the hostage takers to release the hostages without further
delay.
